Today, I'd like to take the opportunity to share a project I've been working on in between paintings throughout this summer: my new website!
The idea behind this new site is that you can find all of my art in one place. The new gallery will eventually include information about most of my paintings, including details about each painting, a bit about the story behind why I decided to paint that particular painting, whether it has some special symbolism, and so on. I’ll be working on adding all of my works throughout the late summer and fall (yes, it does take time!)
Of course, there’s a shop where you can purchase prints of your favorites, or even pick up an original. In fact, currently the shop stock is mostly art prints and originals, as well as a few greeting cards. I’ll be adding other items, like my Christmas ornaments, as time allows.
Commissions will also be available through the site later this summer. You can request to get one of your favorite landscape scenes painted in the style you’ll find throughout the gallery. If that’s something you’re interested in, keep an eye open at the site, or just subscribe here to be notified when that’s available.
To me, it's exciting to be able to share this. Sites like Etsy is great, but it's not a place I can post everything I do. With this website, in conjunction with here on Substack, I can share more of not only those paintings that may not be available for sale, but I'll be able to share more about the process, more about the story behind each painting and so on.
As I mentioned, at this point the website does not contain all my art. I haven't had time to upload everything yet. But, it's filling out slowly but surely. Today, the gallery section contains a good representation of my paintings and my style while I'm still working on adding all of those to the shop as prints, greeting cards and more that you can order directly.
So, if you have a moment, take a peek, let me know what you think!
